Our Mission

To promote dialogue, cooperation, and responsible development in diplomacy, international relations, and business.

The Foundation supports initiatives that strengthen international cooperation between states, institutions, and societies — with particular attention to entrepreneurship, economic development, education, and public–private dialogue. DBF promotes democratic values, the rule of law, ethical standards, and good governance in public and economic life.

Through its activities, the Foundation aims to:

  • support international and intercultural dialogue,
  • strengthen economic and business cooperation,
  • promote the internationalization of enterprises,
  • develop knowledge in diplomacy and international relations,
  • encourage cooperation between public institutions and the private sector.

Statutory Framework

The Diplomacy & Business Foundation operates in accordance with Polish law and its official statute. The statute defines the objectives of the Foundation, its principles of operation, governance structure, and sources of financing. It provides the legal framework for DBF’s activities in Poland and abroad.

The statutory objectives of the Foundation include, among others:

  • promoting a positive image of Poland internationally,
  • supporting entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic cooperation,
  • advancing education and research in diplomacy and international relations,
  • strengthening public–private and institutional dialogue,
  • supporting civic, cultural, and economic diplomacy,
  • promoting democracy, the rule of law, and good governance.
